Getting on board the ship was a breeze.  We arrived at Port Everglades and they let us in check in immediately and we only waited less than 30 minutes to get onboard but we could not access our rooms until 1:30.  We had some drinks and ate lunch on the Lido Deck.  Went to our rooms at 1:30 and freshened up a bit.  Bring a carry on bag with a change of clothes.  Don’t check all your bags.  Sometimes they don’t arrive till 2 to 3 hours later, which is not bad considering they have 3,000 people on board.

I was a little disappointed in the ship’s décor – kinds of tacky but the cabins were nice (inside) – great for sleeping in because it is very dark so you don’t know what time it is when you wake up unless you program a wake up call, which we did.

Staff was excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two formal nights – ate in the Silver Olympian – very nice – food was okay – lots of choices.  The buffets have good food too with lots of choices.  Starbuck was onboard too.  Yummy.

Casino was okay – not a lot of payouts on the slots – played slots and roulette.  Won more money on roulette.

Shows were okay – nothing spectacular.

Recommendation:  Do not go on Thanksgiving week if you don't want  a lot of kids onboard. Over 1,000 kids were onboard and you could tell. Didn’t even get to go in the pool – too crowded with kids.

Nassau, Bahamas – Been there about 5 times – nothing great but people are friendly and don’t bug you too much to buy there things at the craft flea market.  We just walked around on our own – shopped and ate.

Grand Cayman Island – Very nice place but not a good place to shop for high end stuff like jewelry – very expensive.  We did the tour where you swim with the stingrays.  The ship does not dock due to the preservation of the coral.  We took a boat from the ship to get on the island and then took a party cruise boat to go and swim with the stingrays.  It was awesome.  I was scared at first and watched the other people do it and then got it the water myself.  The boat takes you way out in the ocean on a sandbar and put life preservers on you.  Stingrays are all around.  I even kissed and petted one.  Glad I did it.  Ended up in Margaritaville for lunch and some shopping.  The shopping district is next to the pier and pretty safe to walk.  We were not bothered at all by the local people asking us if we wanted to purchase drugs.

Ochos Rios, Jamaica – Fun and friendly place.  We took a tour and went to Dunn's River Falls but did not climb the falls.  Too treacherous.  You have to go with a guide and hold everyone's hands and form a chain.  It’s very steep and slippery.  You need water shoes.  They rent them for $5.00 U.S. dollars.  There are steps you can climb to get to the top, so we did that.  At the top, they have a craft market and refreshments.  It was fun.  After the tour, we walked in the shopping district.

Disembarkation – Very well organized – ate breakfast on the Lido deck and we were off the ship by 10 AM and went through customs very smoothly.

Rating this cruise 1 - 10, I would give it a 7.
