This was the first cruise I had been on, and it was fantastic! We arrived in Tampa a day early (which I would recommend in case of delays). In fact, if we would have left the day of the cruise, we would have been delayed because of a SNOW STORM! Embarking was totally a breeze! Once on the ship, it was beautiful! The decorations, the wall murals….I was in awe.

We headed for the Lido deck for lunch. It was a bit confusing at first, seeing that Horatio’s is so big….you don’t know where to start. But after a few hours on the ship, you get to know your way around. When we got to our stateroom, our luggage was waiting for us. My mom and I had one room, and my brother stayed next door. They opened up the divider between the balconies, so it was now twice the size, and we could go room to room. We had to tender in at every port. I guess at Costa Maya you dock, but it was too windy that day, and the port was closed. Another day at sea! I found the excursions at each port very fun. We went swimming with the sting rays in Grand Cayman. We did not book it from Carnival however. In Cozumel, I went scuba diving. It was awesome. Belize—cave tubing (www.cavetubing.com). It was really cool, and by bookings with cavetubing.com, you get to go through more caves than if you book with the cruise ship.

What else can I say….I thought the entertainment was great. One night they had an R rated comedian. Funniest thing I have ever seen! The food was really good. I loved the Bacchus dining room. It was hard coming home….I wanted people waiting on me hand and foot. Our staterooms were cleaned 2 times a day. I loved this cruise. I would recommend it to anyone. I am planning on my 2nd cruise already!
