Tampa port was great. We got to the port
around 12:30 and were on board the ship by 1:30.
The ship itself was very nice and clean. I did not understand the reasoning
behind some of the decor. If you are looking for luxury, this is more of a fun
style cruise. Our cabin was great. We were category 8F with a balcony. The room
was very spacious, and the room steward always attentive.
My husband and I were not very impressed with the dining room food. It was okay
but not what you would expect. I did gain weight however. The food on the Lido
deck was fine as well.
We really enjoyed Grand Cayman and swimming with the stingrays. Would love to go
there someday and just stay on the island. The Cozumel dune buggy adventure was
fun too. As for Belize, I would never go there again.
Costa Maya-My husband got food poisoning on Thursday night and we were not able
to get off the ship. I would have really liked to see the beach everyone raves
over. I do want to add that the cruise staff was very kind and checked on him
quite a bit. The weather was also really bad that day and many people were not
able to get off the ship, winds were at 60mph.
The ship was very rocky on Friday, dining room staff even said they had never
rocked that much.
It was a great trip for the money. My husband and I have decided that the next
vacation for just the two of us will be an all inclusive resort.
