This was our first cruise. We had a wonderful time! Let me say, I have read allot of reviews and listened to people talk about the horrible things about cruises, I think that your cruise is what you make of it. We were on the Empress deck, which was centrally located. We had the early seating in the Imagination Dining Room.

The room: The room was larger than I expected. The bathroom was allot bigger than what I had been told. I was very surprised. It was very clean and well stocked. The room steward was nice. We never saw her in the room but sometime were able to talk with her in the hall. Our luggage was at our room very early and we were able to unpack and roam around before diner.

Tiffanys: We ate there several times. The food was your standard buffet with a twist. They had a different theme for the food everyday. Although there were always sandwiches and pizza if you were not adventurous enough to try the different things they had. The only disappointment was the desserts. I would have thought the desserts would have been better than they were. But oh well, you cant have it all.

Imagination Dining Room: The food and the service was wonderful. We loves out waiters!

Now on to the ports:

Progresso: We took the Merida City Tour and loved it. You were able to learn allot and there were plenty of times to shop if you wanted to. I liked it allot.

Cozumel: We went on a glass bottom boat tour, that was really fun. I booked it through an outside party other than the cruise ship and it was great. The taxi was cheap and we had time to shop before the boat trip. It was allot of fun and you got to see allot of colorful fish and things.

Belize: This was the big disappointment for me. I was surprised at the guards that are all around everywhere. There is nothing that you can do there unless you want to take your chances. It is not a safe place outside of the gates. I was disappointed. In talking with other passengers they were disappointed as well.

Overall: The ship was wonderful. We had a wonderful time. I have to say that room service was WONDERFUL! Always fast and the food tasty!!!!! I loved the cruise and we are planning another one for next year.
