Well What can I say. For the most part we had a good time, mainly because when we travel we always try to make the best of any situation

The Bus Ride from Houston:

Can you say yuk: The bus smelled and they cram it full I was car sick by the time we arrived.

Embarkation: Went fairly smooth. We got on later so it it lunch was over and we had to suffer thru the fire drill. Needless to say by the time that was over we were both starved and tired so we didn't do much the first day.

The next day it was still cold and rainy we both read and relaxed

Food: We learned quickly to stay away from the buffet during regular feeding hours. We usually would eat very early to avoid the long line and the rude people. It amazes me how a 500lb women on a rascal can over power an entire line of people.

Lunch we ate out on the deck. We kept it simple burgers and fries.

Dinner. The Formal dining room food was horrible so we ate at the buffet.

Overall the food on a scale of 1-10 was about a 3. The entertainment was average. We enjoyed the comedy acts and the talent show. We did have one bad incident. We were watching a guest show and the asst cruise dir made a very negative racial comment about Mexicans over the microphone. We went to the purser to complain and it was handled as if nothing ever happen. I did write and complain when we returned only to receive letter of apology and a 10% discount on our next cruise.

We loved Belize but would not do the bat caves again. This excursion is very physical and you MUST BE in tip top shape tp have any fun. Over all we had a great time because we made it great. I would not do this cruise again mainly because the ship is filled with TEXANS and they don't let you forget it. Many of them were rude. Also the average age on this cruise was probably 75. My husband and I felt like at night if you didn't play bingo there was nothing else to do.

We are taking a RC cruise in a few weeks and I can't wait to see the difference
