We chose this cruise because it included Freeport as well as Nassau. Both the
embarkation and debarkation on this ship ran very smoothly. Leaving at the end
of the cruise was the fastest we have ever experienced - and no crowds. Our
cabin was an Outside cabin on the Main Deck mid-ship. It was very comfortable.
This ship was renovated last year and the beds have soft pillows and comforters.
There are robes to use in the closet. New sink style in the bathroom. Cabin
Steward was very efficient. We had a great group of people at our table of eight
for dinner. We took the 8:30 P. M. seating. The food was all right, but served
fast with very polite waiters. If you don't care for your entree or you want
another lobster tail, they are happy to give you another order. The
entertainment was very good, the costumes were lavish. The slots in the casino
were tight but the hosts were fun and friendly. We enjoyed Freeport which is not
crowded and laid back. The beach, shopping and casino (Isle of Capri) are all
located downtown which is convenient. In Nassau we went to the Atlantis Hotel
and Casino on Paradise Island. Great place, no other place is like this complex.
We also went to Crystal Palace Casino at night and saw their Celebrity
Impersonators show. Carnival stays in Nassau for 24 hours which is what we
really like. All in all a wonderful cruise to sunny, fun islands.
