Ship: Inspiration
Sailing Date: September 7th, 2004
Itinerary: Western Caribbean
To start off they reduced our cruise by 2 days, thanks to Hurricane Francis.
Finally Tuesday came, Port of Tampa was so crowded, lines everywhere. I think we
all justed wanted to get on the ship at the same time.. It took a long process
due to they just arrived in port that morning so it wasn't ready for us to come
on board. I think we left Tampa around 5p.m.
The rooms were clean and tidy. No complaints at all. Everynight a cute towel
animal waiting for us. (very cute).
Dinner was excellent. So much food all day long. The waiter Ravu was so funny
and always very attentive of us.
Grand Cayman: we took our own excursion which was alot less expensive
*Captain Marvins* 35.00 Per person for 2 hrs sure beats Carnival's price. kids
pay $20.00 They took us to Coral Reef and Stingray City. It was an awsome
experience.First time snorkeling for the family. My children ages 7 & 11 loved
every moment of it, so did my husband and I. We will never forget this day.
After we finished our tour & shopping we were heading back to the ship it
started pouring, very heavy rain .It was perfect timing, our excursion was not
ruin by the rain.
Cozumel: beautiful island, very friendly people and helpful. We did our
own excursion there too. Took a cab to chankanaab park and spend the day. We did
swim w/ sealions (Karla). It was a trip to remember. Kids snorkel at the beach,
did some shopping. By 9pm we were beat and restless.
Entertainment: was really nice, something different everyday. and can't
forget Bingo Everday!! no luck here maybe next time.
Overall this cruise was a delight, very nice crew members, excellent overall ! I
would go again on Inspiration.
