Itinerary: Grand Cayman and Cozumel

We left from the port of Tampa. The boarding process was not to difficult but my luggage didn't arrive at our room until almost 9 that night. The room was a very nice size with a good view. The first day was a full day at sea. I will talk about the food first. It was mediocre at best. I had 2 fairly good things the whole trip. The lobster tail one night and the Pumpkin soup. In Grand Cayman we didn't do any of the boat excursions I had booked one online with another company called Capt. Bryan's Snorkel Tours. www.cayman.org/captainbryan  I must say this was a great decision. We walked about 2 blocks to their office from the pier and they took us and the other 10 people to their boat. They had a very nice VW bus to transport us all there on. The boat was beautiful it was a very large Catamaran. We arrived at Stingray Island and I was immediately very satisfied with the fact that we hadn't gone with the boat excursions. There were so many people on the other boats that it could not of been fun. We had individual attention and the guys were so nice. After Stingray City they took us snorkeling not to far away. I had never been before and it was beautiful. I highly recommend this excursion as it was also cheaper than the ones on the boat.

That night we watched the juggler perform he was very good. The nightclubs are all right. I think are main complaint was the parents who just let their kids go nuts with no supervision. I mean these were some ill mannered teenagers. The crew was wonderful though everyone we spoke with was so friendly. The boat does shake a bit when the engine is going depending on where your room is. The next day we were in Cozumel. It is a wonderful place for diving and snorkeling. It is also a beautiful place. I must say though the Bahamas are much nicer. If you need a suggestion I would recommend skipping Cozumel. The last day we could of done without we were bored, and tired from the hard bed. The boat was also rocking a bit. Not enough to make you sick just enough to give you a headache.
