Just returned from my first cruise ever and it was a blast. We had planned this cruise as a celebration of some birthdays. 10 couples went and all 20 of us had a blast! We are all in our 20's and 30's.

We got on the ship pretty quickly on Friday. We did not check any of our luggage and carried it right on board with us. The staterooms do not open until 1 pm, so we just brought our stuff to lunch with us and then dropped it off in the room right after.

ROOMS:
Yes, they are small, but totally manageable. I was actually surprised by the amount of closet, cabinet and drawer space they give you. Many people complained about the shower – it was fine. The shower head adjusts and it stays hot the whole time. The pressure was great too! We were on the third floor in an ocean view room – the window was small, but it was nice to be able to look out. I thought the bed was really comfortable as well. Our stateroom attendant was great – our room was always clean and she was always around. She even let us know which of our friends were still in their rooms and which were out and about!

FOOD:
If anyone complains, they have issues. There are options for everyone and plenty of them. While it is not 5 star quality, it is great and the choices are endless. We all loved the pizza – especially after spending time in the nightclub! The frozen yogurt machines were very popular as well. The dining room staff is amazing and they take very good care of you. And you can order as much as you want! We ate the whole time!

POOL:
Loved hanging by the pool. It was never too crowded and the staff came by constantly to bring you drinks (which are great!!!) The water is super relaxing and they play fun music all day long. There were always plenty of chairs and I never felt worried about leaving my stuff there when we went inside to grab a bite to eat.

SHIP:
Super clean! There are always people working. The elevators are a little slow – but it was nice to take the stairs as well. We had a blast in the casino and at the On Your Toes nightclub! The Quest (adult scavenger hunt) was amazing! There are always a ton of activities going on. The gym and spa are wonderful – I especially enjoyed the steam room and sauna.

COCO CAY and NASSAU:
Coco Cay is amazing! It is a tiny little island with everything you can imagine! We signed up for the snorkeling and had a great time. We saw a ton of fish – even a starfish! There is a sunken airplane and it was a lot of fun to snorkel out to it. The BBQ lunch was great too! We loved the shops in Nassau – they had great knock-off designer bags and jewelry stores. Lunch at Senor Frog’s was very fun! It was nice to see a Starbucks and a Haagen Dazs.

Overall, it was a blast – especially with a big group of friends! We can’t wait to plan our next trip – and hopefully it will be for more than 3 days!
