Never thought I'd go on a cruise. But this one was a freebie so what the heck.
Had a wonderful time. Ship wasn't plush but plenty comfortable. Good food
available at all hours in multiple locations. Plenty of activities and plenty of
places to do nothing but lounge in comfort. You can find places to be off by
yourself or be with the crowds around the pool. Had second seating for dinner
and the menu was great but there are pitfalls when serving 700 folks at a
seating. The duck I had on the first night must have been a Wood Duck cause it
was hard and dry as a log. The wait staff was terrific and would replace a meal
immediately but by the last night everyone at our tables was ordering the steak
which was always perfect when it arrived at the table.
I loved getting up at 6 am, finding coffee and Danish ready and going up on the
bow to watch the captain bring the ship into the dock.
Coco Cay was like a big beach party with plenty of chaise lounges, hammocks
under palm trees, snorkeling, kayaking, jet skis and lots of food.
Nassau was a disappointment of jewelry shops but we found a wonderful restaurant
for lunch with elegant tables set by the spectacular Aquarium at Atlantis.
Stateroom was small but adequate and we hardly spent any time there.
The ships personnel were all wonderful. They are great young adults who seem to
enjoy their work and are very accommodating.
